The Sandpiper Inn consists of 11 rooms all at ground level. The rooms are all located in one long building. All parking for the inn is located on the street side in front of the building. Parking is limited to one standard size vehicle per room. There is no additional parking available and there is no parking for trailers and any type of oversize vehicle such as RVs etc. Please note that the spaces are not as wide as most spaces are. The spaces are about 8 and 1/2 feet wide, instead of a normal 10 feet.

The building runs lengthwise from the street to the Gulf of Mexico, there is a nicely landscaped area running down the side of the inn. The pool is near the street and parking. The first unit in from the street is the manager's apartment and office. After going through the covered archway the units run from 100 to 108 (108 is end nearest the Gulf). Units 200 and 201 are the Gulf front units at the end of the building facing the Gulf and the beach. Click here for a simple diagram that shows the layout of the property. The room you reserve has a limited capacity of guests as shown in the chart above. For your comfort and the comfort and safety of our other guests we do not normally allow the number of guests in each room to exceed the capacity listed for that room.

Policies:

Effective immediately NO Smoking of any kind is allowed anywhere on the property, inside or out, including our private beach area.

We apologize for any inconvenience to our guests who smoke, but we have to implement this policy for staff health reasons and to allow guests to enjoy the outside areas of the property without being exposed to second hand smoke and to prevent smoke from entering rooms through open doors/windows or the fresh air input of the air conditioning units.

Check In is 4 PM or later. Check out by 10 AM.

Rate information listed below.

Add 11.5% to all rates for Florida and Manatee County taxes.

Daily rates are not generally available during winter season and there are minimum stays throughout the year. You should call or email ahead to check for stays less than a week.

Weekly rates are based on a Saturday to Saturday stay.

Rates are based on two guests in a room. Extra guests of any age are $10 per night plus tax.

Small well trained dogs 25 pounds or less are accepted at $15 per night plus 6.5% sales tax, a deposit is also required.

We do not take cats.

A 25% deposit is required for a reservation of 2 nights or more. When single night reservations are available then the deposit is 100%.

If you need to cancel a room reservation for May through January stays and give us 30 days or more notice (60 days for Feb thru Apr), then your deposit is refunded except for a $50 administration fee for cancelling. There is no refund for cancelling with a notice of less than 30 days unless the full room reservation is rebooked at the same rate. There is still a $50 administration charge to cancel regardless.

The room you reserve has a limited capacity of guests as shown in the chart above. For your comfort and the comfort and safety of our other guests we do not allow the number of guests in each room to excede the capacity listed for that room. We need to have an accurate guest count for each room before guests arrive to allow us to properly stock each room for arrival of guests.

• Should you arrive with more guests than the room capacity listed then we reserve the right to deny the reservation and your deposit will be FORFEITED. Please call before arrival if your guest count changes.
